Congratulations Corey. This is a very nice buck for a first time ever buck. From now on the bucks will only get better and larger.
Care to tell us a little about the hunt?

Congrats, kishman!!
Every buck you take fair and square is a trophy, and this is definitely one to be proud of.
May this be the first of a long line of trophies for you.

The BLR is chambered in .270 wsm, the shot was a pass through lung shot from no more that 50-60 yards. No problem finding the short bloodtrail. As far as the hunt goes not much to tell at all, him and two of his buddies were just hanging around a clearcut for a powerline.
